Special Features:   The Buddha sits on a beautifully flowered lotus base.  His hair is not pulled tight into the recognizable sea shell curls but is rather let loose and flowing.

What is Gandharan Style?  Gandhara style combines Hellenistic or Greco-Roman artistic techniques and modeling with Indian Buddhist iconography to create a recognizably Indian hybrid.  The hair is flowing and up in a bun on the top of the head rather than in curls.

Care:  The piece can be used both indoors and outdoors.  Dust the piece regularly.  If you would like the piece to shine use a cotton cloth with some coconut oil or other natural oil to wipe down the statue.
