Special Features:  The piece is made from three pieces of wood placed solidly next to each other by two boards that hold them together in the back.  There is a wire on the back enabling the panel to be hung on a wall like you would hang a picture.

The face is the focal point of any Buddha sculpture.  Through the peaceful eyes the soul of the Buddha is expressed.  By focusing solely upon the face this hand carved, bas-relief, wood panel demonstrates the quiet, tranquil nature of the Buddha.  

This quality product is entirely hand-crafted and painted by the rural villages of northern Thailand.  They use the ancient Lanna techniques, that have been handed down from generation to generation, since the early days of the Kingdom of Lanna to create this item.  Every piece is therefore , truly unique in its own accord, design and carving.
