Beautiful Shakti Marriaman Bronze Statue 21"

This hand made, bronze sculpture is a one-of-a-kind statue, hand cast by the artists of south India.

Special Features:  Shakti is beautiful!  Surrounding her face is a crown of flames which frames the beauty of her face perfectly.  Shakti is seated holding a knife, pasam (a weapon associated with Ganesh), bowl and a drum with a cobra wrapped around it.  On top of the arch over the figure of Shakti is Mahakala or "Great Time".  A five headed cobra also rests above the head of Shakti.  The arch, the five headed cobra and the knife are all removable from the piece. 

Shakti is the hidden power that turns matter into life. She is the divine spark, the flow of God’s love. Anyone who is connected with spirit has Shakti.  Shakti is the mother goddess, the source of all, the universal principal of energy, power and creativity.  The worship of Shakti as this energy is the main objective of Tantric Yoga.

Care:  Regular dusting should keep the piece clean.   If you want to keep the piece looking new you can use a cotton rag and some coconut oil to regularly clean the piece.  The statue can be used for both indoor and outdoor use.
