This bronze statue is a one of a kind sculpture, hand cast by the artists of Bangladesh.
Special Features: A wonderful and unique piece that combines the story of the birth of Brahma from the navel of Vishnu with all the incarnations of Lord Vishnu.
Surrounding the laying figure of Lord Vishnu is the multi headed Ananta sesha, his consort Lakshmi, his vehicle Garuda, a lotus with Brahma seated upon it and Shiva in the form of a Lingam. Rarely are the three figures of the Trinity seen together.
Vishnu's preserving, restoring, and protecting powers have been manifested in the world in a series of ten earthly incarnations known as avatars. The avatars arrive either to prevent a great evil or to effect good upon the earth. The ten avatars of Lord Vishnu are beautifully captured in a half moon arch behind the main sculpture of Vishnu. They are displayed in order of appearance starting at the head of Lord Vishnu; Matsya the fish, Kurma the turtle, Varaha the boar, Narasimha half man half lion, Vamana the dwarf, Parashurama the Brahmin, Rama the hero, Krishna the cow herder, Buddha the enlightened one and Kalki the horse yet to come to the earth.
On the front of the base are three oil vessels that act as lamps by placing a wick or piece of cloth into the spout of the vessel and oil in the vessel. The wick will absorb some oil which can then be lit to start the lamp.

Vishnu opened his eyes. From his naval sprung forth a thousand petalled lotus. On it sat Brahma, the Creator. Brahma looked in the four directions and saw only water; nothing in which he could use to create the world with....
