Special Features: A resplendent Gold colored Buddha sculpture.
The polished gold color if left outdoors or is allowed to sit for a long time
indoors without any care will naturally change color to a dull/antique brass
color. This color can be quickly brought back simply by polishing the
brass. Utong is a town near Ayuthaya in Thailand and is also associated
with a period in Thai history between the 13th and 15th centuries.
His face has a hint of a smile as his left hand rests facing upwards in his lap
and his right hand is held out in the Vitarka mudra. The base does not sit
flush on the ground but there are three legs that make contact with the ground.
