"I
have a growing collection of wonderful statues from Lotus Sculpture.
I return again and again because of the quality, and the
affordability, but most of all because of what I can only call the
spirit of each piece. The owner, Kyle, has exquisite taste and by
buying a piece from him I know I am supporting artists that love
what they do, and the love shows in what they make. So all I can say
is, I love Lotus Sculpture!"

This bronze statue is a one of a kind sculpture, hand cast by the artists of south India.
Special Features: This named the square dance pose because Shiva's legs are in an upright square almost like a diamond. Both his feet firmly rest on Apasmara who represents ignorance. Apasmara holds a cobra a symbol associated with Shiva. In Shiva's hand she holds Agni, the fire god and a dhamru or a drum. The front left hand is across the chest in the gahahasta (elephant trunk) pose, with the wrist limp and the fingers pointed downward toward the ground while his front right hand is in the abhaya-mudra (the "fear not" gesture, made by holding the palm outward with fingers pointing up). All the hands are in the same pose as Shiva as Lord of Dance; Nataraja. A simple yet elegant pose of Lord Shiva.
One unusual aspect of this piece is that Shiva is wearing multiple rings on his fingers.
