This hand made, bronze sculpture is a one-of-a-kind statue, hand cast by the artists of south India.

Special Features:  "Gaja" in Sanskrit means elephant.  The seated, cross legged figure of Lakshmi is flanked by two elephants.  The two elephants are removable.  Lakshmi is sometimes depicted in painting with two white elephants surrounding her.  The white elephants are a symbol of fertility and strength.  Lakshmi is holding two lotus flowers, a symbol of beauty, prosperity and fertility.  Her other two hands are in the abhaya mudra showing her devotees that have nothing to fear from the goddess of wealth.

Shipping is automatically calculated by UPS for shipping within the US and Canada.  Each piece is usually shipped within 24 hours of the order with the exception of the weekend.   If you are in Canada please select "UPS Standard to Canada" for the shipping option.  If you are an international customer please select "TNT International Shipping" during checkout.  The shipping will come out as $0 and will be added to your order.  Please call 203-629-0902 or email us info@lotussculpture.com for a shipping quote.

Care:  Regular dusting should keep the piece clean.  Over the years the golden polish will fade.  In order to keep the piece shiny you can use a cotton rag and some coconut oil to regularly clean the piece.  Or you can cut a half a lemon and go over the piece.  The acid from the lemon removes any patina.
