This wood sculpture is a one of a kind statue, hand carved by the artists of south India.

He is worshiped with red flowers.

Special Features:  Ganesh holds a noose and an axe in two of his hands.  He has one open palm in the abhaya mudra or "no fear" position and his fourth hand is casually resting on his knee.  He holds in his trunk a ball of sweets.  Above Ganesh's head is a five headed serpent whose body wraps all the way around Ganesh and forms the coils that He is seated upon. This is a beautiful piece with a red wood finish.  There is also a circular lotus flower engraved in the base.

Care:  Dust the piece as needed.  You can use a wood cleaner to really make it shine.  Mainly for indoor use.
