This wood sculpture is a one of a kind statue, hand carved by the artists of south India.

“If you take home a stone and worship it in full faith, over a course of time you are bound to see the image of Ganesh.”

Special Features:  Ganesh holds in his hands, a noose, an elephant goad, his broken tusk that he used to write the Mahabharata epic and a ball of sweets.  Ganesh's vehicle; a rat is on the base looking up to Ganesh in awe. He is seated a double lotus flower base.  Looming above him is Mahakala or "great time" that devours all.  This piece has a dark wood finish.  

Care:  Dust the piece as needed.  You can use a wood cleaner to really make it shine.  Mainly for indoor use.
