This wood sculpture is hand carved by the artists of Northern Thailand.

Special Features:  The pair of monks are sold as a set.  They would be perfect on both sides of a door way or any entry point.  Each monk is captured standing peacefully with his begging bowl in hand and a passive expression on his face.  The red robes are covered with real gold leaf and hundreds of small mirrors.  This contrasts perfectly to the monks dark brown skin.

This quality product is entirely Hand-crafted and painted by the rural villages of northern Thailand.  They use the ancient Lanna techniques, that have been handed down from generation to generation, since the early days of the Kingdom of Lanna to create this item.  Every piece is therefore , truly unique in its own accord, design and carving.
