hand-painted roof tiles are very special in every respect. The tiles come
from old houses in Burma that are either being destroyed or renovated. As
the relations between the Burmese and Thai are anything but cordial they are
particularly hard to get into Thailand.
The actual image on the tile is hand-painted by a very special 28 year old
Thai man named Jack. His mother used drugs while pregnant and he was born
handicapped with some body parts in the wrong places. He has hand like
appendages where his feet are with legs that are about 10 inches long. He
is a wonderful person and a wonderful artist as demonstrated by these
beautiful paintings.
Care: Dust the piece as needed. Mainly for indoor use.
