This piece is reminiscent of the busts of ancient Greece. Vishnu has a "V" shaped trident on his forehead which is a symbol of Vishnu. His earrings are large round sun-like shapes, perhaps a reference to his form in early cults as a sun god. His eyes are large and captivating. His headdress is like an elaborate mountain on top of his head.
