Special Features: Sukhothai sculptures feature a flame-like halo on the head, which symbolizes the Buddha's radiant spiritual energy. The face is oval with curved eyebrows, a long, hooked nose and a smiling expression, with the head being topped by small hair curls. His right hand is touching the earth in the earth touching gesture or subduing Mara hand gesture.
About Sukhothai: Sukhothai is a town and historical capital of a former kingdom of north-central Thailand. It is one of Thailand's earliest and most important historical settlements. Originally a provincial town within the Angkor-based Khmer empire, Sukhothai in the 13th century gained its independence and became established as the capital of the first united and independent Tai state in what is now Thailand's Chao Phraya River basin, or Central Plain.

Extreme cold and extreme heat will not affect the statue.
